MEET DR ALEX LAW

The Nurture Clinic was founded by Dr Alex Law, an HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of experience across NHS specialist services and private practice. Alongside her private work, Alex is a Clinical Psychologist within an NHS specialist weight management and bariatric psychology service, and co-founder of Neurodiversity in the Workplace, a consultancy delivering neurodiversity training for organisations.

Alex has a particular interest in the overlap between neurodivergence (including ADHD and autism), eating behaviour, emotion regulation and the nervous system, drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Compassion Focused Therapy and polyvagal-informed approaches to help people understand why they behave the way they do, rather than simply trying harder to change.

Dr Law is guided by core principles of integrity, safety, and authenticity, striving to build strong, trusting therapeutic relationships that form the foundation for personal growth and change. Her research and clinical publications are credited under her maiden name, Alexandria Phillips (see Publications below).
