A clinical psychologist is a highly trained professional, holding doctoral postgraduate qualifications and undergoing years of rigorous education, supervised clinical experience, and professional registration. Their training includes in-depth study of human behaviour, mental health conditions, and therapeutic techniques that cover a wide range of approaches—such as cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, compassion focused therapy and internal family systems.
